All the TED apps need work on their UI in my view. Functionalities should be clear: history, likes and saved videos should be consistent from one device to another. Like someone else said before, sharing across apps is broken. This needs to be fixed ASAP. Part of the enjoyment of TED talks is the sharing of those talks that touch us. Not being able to share them is a big downer and almost reason enough to remove the app from the phone. The platform is very useful and long may it live.

Dear TED, i'd like to do 2 feature requests hereby for a like button in your player. 1. Please make your app open-source and available on F-Droid! Really fits well with your goals as an organization. 2. it is possible to like videos in the screen that you get when you look them up or select them from Discovery, but there is not a like button in the player itself. THis is problematic as a user, because often I play lists, or just let the player run to the next video. That is when you discover interesting new talks that you might want to like. But at that moment, it is not possible to like them, because there is not a like button in the player! The only workaround is to then do a search for the title of that video, find it, and then like it. But that is way too cumbersome to be practical. alright, hope this helps in improving your app,

A great way to listen/watch the TED talks. The content is great and eye-opening. The only two issues I have is with the app. First is offline viewing is not great. If I had downloaded 5 TED talks, and deleted one after watching it, then remaining 4 doesn't play until I go back online. The other issue is basic filter of the talk based on Topic. More and better filters should be introduced like Sub-Topic, Year, Speaker, Language, Length, etc.

I love ted talks. I do have some suggestions. 1) It will be better if within each category/topic there will be sorting options like by popularity etc. 2) Creating playlists option can be helpful 3) There should be an option to like the catagory and then to pin those catagories on home screen or in menu options. Ted talks are a sea of knowledge. They have helped me a lot. Ted is really helping in making world a better place. Besides the app, the audacious platform is great. Thanks

There should be a "double-tap to seek" option for the video player and the time for that should be manually set, to be 5s, 10s or 15s (like the youtube's video player). Sometimes when you enable captions the video stops playing.

This is an Uber-basic app...limited search, minimal organizational capability and minimal sharing capabilities. I'd love it if you could create and share playlists, search by speaker or, in short, do anything beyond basic topic browsing. I love the actual talks but the app falls FAR short of the talks.
