Must allow location permissions, and have Bluetooth turned on. Does not have music features. Works well; able to select between red, blue, green and white or any combination of those (only 4 colour options, not a full spectrum to choose from). Very simple to operate app. The light program choices are: STEADY, SPARKLE, GLIMMER, FADE, CANDLE, FIREWORKS, SURGE, and SHOW. I selected this product because of the timer option. You can choose from 2hr, 4hr, 6hr or 8hr.

Spent 3 hours trying as many combinations as possible to get the app to work. Tried all combos from the reviews and nothing worked. Sure would like more info on how people got it to work. The music worked great so we don't know if the problem is that the app is the major problem or the unit is the problem and will not connect to the app, especially since some people have not had a problem. Will return the unit and try again. Will give a update if the problem is the same. At this time I have to say the app is junk.

Seriously? You have to restart your phone and turn BT on and off again every time to get it to work! And tonight I've done both several times with no success. Everything is plugged in and I've had no issues with my BT or Wi-Fi today either. Fix these bugs please!

I would give it a zero stars if I could. The app does not connect, there is no menu options on the app, and no assistance options in the play store site with the exception of an e- mail address.

mixed results, when it works it is great, but it loses connection, says it wants to turn on bluetooth, allowed, but no lights, have reinstalled app, no luck, currently not working.

Like Everyone Else.. I experience connectivity issues. But, worse than that the lens on the projector is so soft, does project sharp images at all.. waste of money
