This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing App of Things on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. About this app

App of Things is an application that allows you to control any microcontroller board via Bluetooth/WiFi/IoT, and so to create awesome and fully customized projects with this app.
Following widgets are given in Bluetooth and WiFi section. IoT is used for automation and receiving 16 channel sensor data.

Terminal
This widget is just a terminal that receives and sends data to the board, displayed with the timestamp corresponding to each action.

Automation
This widget is used for home automation. 8 devices can be controlled via sending commands A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H respectively to switch on the device and a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h is sent to switch off the devices.

Sensor Data
This widget is used to receive sensor data. 16 Channels can be displayed at a time.

Voice
Control your devices with your vocal commands. First letter of each command is sent to the device.

Custom
You can customize this widget to send data. 6 buttons and 3 sliders are provided. You can send specific data using buttons.
Robot
Four arrow keys send data F for forward, B for Back, L for Left and R for Right

Metrics
Receive data from your device and set alarm for variation in data. Get notified by SMS.

Accelerometer
This tool permits you to interpret the gesture commands of your phone, and send the corresponding data to your board, and so , your phone can be the steering wheel of your robot.
