Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Administrasi Tabalong (STIAT) yang berdiri sejak Tahun 1984 diasuh oleh Yayasan Banua Saraba Kawa (YBSK), semula nama lembaga ini adalah Akademi Administrasi Tabalong (AAT) seiring dengan berjalannya waktu maka sejak tahun 2002 status Akademi ditingkatkan menjadi Sekolah Tinggi, dimana telah menghasilkan sejumlah alumni yang kini telah tersebar diberbagai sektor baik dipemerintahan maupun di sektor swasta.
