About this app

The app performs the shear strength beam design according to the criteria indicated in chapter 21 of the Peruvian E.060 code.

The following data corresponding to the beam under analysis are entered into the app:
- Width (b)
- Effective depth (d)
- Depth (h)
- Length (Ln)
- Dead load per unit length (Wm)
- Live load per unit length (Wv)
- Concrete compressive strength (f'c)
- Steel yield strength (fy)
The application then calculates the nominal or probable moments with which the shear design forces are calculated.
The application performs the calculation of the distribution of the stirrups in the confinement zone and in the central zone.
Finally, it shows us the shear beam design
