Surah Al Fatiha "سُّورَةُ الفَاتِحَة" is the first Surah in Holy Quran. There are seven verses in this Surah (chapter) and it said that Surah Al Fatiha is both “makki” and “madani”. It was revealed in Makkah and Madina. It has seven Verses. All seven verses are prayers for the guidance, lordship and mercy of ALLAH.
The word “Fatiha” comes from the verb “Fataha”, Fataha Means “TO SUCCEED”.
Holy Prophet (صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said that whoever recites this Surah Al Fatiha, he will get the reward for reciting 3 of the whole Holy Quran. Surah Al Fatiha is often believed to be a amalgamate of the Holy Quran. It is a prayer in the beginning of the Holy Quran which acts as an introduction to the Holy Quran and implies that the book for a person.
In any situation of a person may be, it’s a difficulty, an illness or a condition of suffering or other problems he finds himself in, he needs to recite the Surah Al Fatiha.
Benefit:
One of the properties of this surah is that if a person suffering from eye disease reads it 41 times between sunnah and obligatory morning prayers, then by permission of Allah he will be recovered from illness very soon. Today reading Surah Al Fatiha in this manner is of great benefit in treating eye and other diseases, as this is tested and verified method, praise to ALLAH! The secret of success lies in the positive opinion of a patient and his confidence.
He who reads this surah in the above order, wanting to get rid of toothache, then "by the grace of God" will be relieved of suffering.
Also, if anyone reads it in that order, while bidding farewell to his friend departing on a trip, then ALLAH will take his friend under His protection, and he will return home unharmed.
One of the righteous people, speaking about the special properties inherent in this surah, said: "He who reads Surah Al Fatiha seven times, putting his hand on the sore spot, and then recites seven times:
اللهمَّ أَذْهِبْ عنِّي سُوءَ ما أَجدُ وَفُحْشَهُ بدَعْوَةِ نَبيِّكَ مُحمدٍ صلى الله تعالى عليه وسلم اَلْمُبَاركِ المكين الأَمِينِ عِنْد َكً
Then ALLAH will heal him." This method of relieving from pain has been tested and confirmed, as stated in the book "Fath al Malik al Majid."
Two reasons interrupt fulfillment of wishes
Know that sometimes people use these methods for treatment, but do not achieve their goals. This occurs for two reasons:
• If a man who reads the surah is one who is disobedient to God; and
Does not deserve beneficial effects and its manifestations.
• When someone reads it, doubting its power or just wants to test it in
Practice.
And if something happens from the deadly poisonous effects of the filth dirty souls capable of incurring death, and their eyes that inflict destruction, and when these are opposed by pure and noble souls with the true comprehension of the hidden meanings of the Surah Al Fatiha, that contain oneness of God, sole hope and praise for Him, Glorious and Most High he or she will be relieved from the effects of those devilish souls and, no doubt, will be healed. So says the book "Shams al-Maarif" ("Khazina al Asrar" page 118).

Surah Al Fatiha is a cure for physical and also spiritual ailments. Without this Surah, even the daily prayers are incomplete. It is indeed a great booty that has been given to us by ALLAH through the Holy Prophet (صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ) and no previous prophet has been given anything like it. This Surah is also known as "Ummul Kitab" and "Sab"a mathani’.
