The selection is very limited. There no way for parents to add songs to there child's account that they deem to be appropriate that spotify kids may not. My child and myself like to listen to music together and he'll ask for songs to be added to him account. Unfortunately most of the time I'm unable to find the song or even the artist. This seems to be more prevalent with older music and less mainstream artist. I

Glad I can make playlists for her now, but it's still not very intuitive as an app. She was creating her own favorites list, but random kids songs (scales and arrpegios from the aristocats in our case) are missing, and there's no way to unblock them. So I have to create a new playlist for her, and add all the songs on her favorites list just to have all her favorite songs in one place. Need to give parents more control over what content is available.

I don't understand why this app is so limited! The other day I wanted to setup a playlist with my kid's favorite lego stories. I had to add the episodes one by one to favorites.... In REVERSE order after I realized that you can't move things around there. There is no way to group his favorite songs or stories. it took me 20 mins to set that up.

Not exactly great for my needs... Yes you can share with your child playlist but they can't be collaborative...si it's either you or your spouse that can maintain the list. From those shared lists...none can be available offline as the child can't click on hearts to make them a favorite. 3 stars is way generous for those reasons.

Update: Spotify added the ability to share playlists with your kids, which is a step in the right direction. I was so excited to get my kid his own account and move his playlists over but it's not like that. No playlists. I was also glad because the music was supposed to be kid-friendly. I get that our standards for kid-friendly are likely higher than most, but the first song we played used the name of the Lord in vain and the images of half-dressed women are not kid-friendly to me.

I like the app, but there a fe wannoying things.. like you can't make a playlist & there are some songs that i love but aren't on there. heres another thing, if your on a album it plays randomly, like you can't choose your song, thats why my rating is three stars.
