This is the second Sphero I have bought. It will not connect to my Samsung galaxy note 10. And it is an app problem because my bb8 loads up just fine on it. I sent an email a month ago and nothing. And now I can't return it. It's going to be a Christmas gift that will just sit there and make noise. And our family are Samsung users. So no i can't just switch to an iPhone for an app. So frustrating.

UPDATE: 09/02/20 Sphero, Inc. Update this the app so users that purchased your product cash use it the way it was intended. Update 4/13/20 "Sphero Can't guaranty connectivity." Got it. As for your advice to "try a different device" if I'm an android user that probably means at some point all of my devices will be incompatible with this product. Great to know that Sphero is not committed to keeping its products relevant.

My spiderman does not connect with the app and i used all the methods mentuoned in the troubleshooting section but it doesn't seem to work. It worked earlier though. But now it says that the app was designed to an older version of android. My phone is an android phone. Please help me

When I launch the Spider-Man app version 1.1.5 I receive "Unable to reach internet please check your configuration or try another network". My Samsung Note 3 (5.0)is currently connected to the internet via wifi and this was verified by going to the youtube app and playing videos. I've attempted the following steps with negative results: Uninstall the Spider-Man application Restart your device Reinstall the Spider-Man application Turn Spider-Man off and then back on Ensure Bluetooth is enabled (as well as Location Services for Android users) and you have a strong WiFi connection Launch app with device close to Spidey I've also tried this on another Samsung tablet running Android 5.1.1 and received the same error message. Can you advise? UDPATE: The fix corrected the issue and is working as expected. Thanks to your team for an extremely fast resolution!!

Got this as a Christmas gift from my wife and the app won't pair at all on my Samsung Galaxy 20 Ultra. The app won't work at all. Just says it's unable to connect to the internet through the wifi, even though I re-downloaded the app on it minutes before reopening it. Sphero doesn't seem to give an eff about keeping their products working with newer hardware without forcing you to jump through a ton of hoops.

Bought this interactive Spider-Man for my daughter (hard to get hold of so it wasn't cheap) only to find that it is no longer supported by Sphero! Like all the other Sphero products it's must have a very short lifecycle due to poor software support. Traditional toys beat tech toys because the tech toys require support from the company creates them and Sphero don't care once they have your cash.
