Normally, it tries to connect and takes several minutes. I've learned to just leave it on the "need help? Contact us" screen for 3-5 minutes and it eventually connects to the unit. But lately, even after it connects, it will freeze and be unusable. You hear the theme music on the app homescreen, but its frozen and you can't choose Drive, etc. I have uninstalled, reinstalled and it may work a few times then back to frozen. Overall the most glitchy and unreliable app I have ever used.

I enjoyed the app the first few days it worked. Now it won't connect to the robot. I've tried installing it again but now it won't even go past the download additional content. It still connects to the Edu Sphero though. However I bought the BB8 it for the additional content that had the app and its slightly disappointing to have something so expensive, work the first few days and then not at all. I would give it 5 stars if it was still functioning.

The app stops working all the time, its gets stuck on connecting to my BB-8. The app only works every once in a while, ive deleted and re- installed many times to try to get it to work but it still dosent work. I dont have another device to use so Its not like i can just use another device. I just would like these issues to be fixed because it has been going on for months.

Terrible app. Never works. If I could give it ZERO stars I would! I have to keep uninstalling and re-installing the app and even then it doesn't always work. Worst app I've ever come across. Would never recommend it!!

Why isnt the app connecting anymore ? I've done everything the app suggest to sync bb8 back up and still no connection, the app won't even go passes the loading screen at this point. This is the proper droid for the app , you guys need to fix this issue. I would like my bb8 to still work and not get a desk ornament thank you.

If you are having problems with the app, reinstalling won't fix it. As the phone save's all the old files, You have to delete all old files from your phone, e.g app memory files, data, etc. You can do this by holding your finger on the app button if app Installed,options will appear to check the files and you can delete them, this will fix the app and then it act like a new install, start after 10seconds, hope this helps people, thank me on my YouTube channel with the same name!
