I sent out an email to the developers. Its going on to a week now and still no answer. I paid for the yearly subscription but now it won't give me access. I would like to get this issue solved or if not please sent my refund back. Thank you.

I gave the app 1 star rating before. Because my money got debited but subscription not activated. But hopefully after few email exchanges,Sparknotes understood the situation and within few days they refund me more than double the price of one year subscription. I truly appreciate Sparknotes team for helping me with the refund. My request to sparknotes team is to please look into the matter and remove the bug that is preventing user from using subscription benefit even after paying money.

I downloaded it, thinking it was like the website (which is free by the way,) and loved the idea of having a handy app for when I'm doing home work on-the-go, only to find out that if you want to acess anything at all you have to pay for a subscription, which isn't worth the effort if you can just use the website.

I downloaded this because i thought that it was free and it is easy to search your topics but it will need to pay so you can see the notes

It worked well for one year, and I got it renewed for another one year, and after payment it is showing, your subscription has expired.!!! I mailed the team twice and they have not rectifoed it.. Buying books and reading them is best. This app sucks.

A complete scam. They advertise the app on their website, saying that it's ad free, and make it seem like the app is free by making the download free, and then force you to make a subscription to use it. Not only that, but you have to constantly pay for it if you're willing to buy a subscription. And the website is free, so it's a complete waste of money.
