Keeps losing rooms or connection randomly, app screen goes blank regularly and we have to restart our router almost weekly. Great when it works but their tech supports abysmal. Phone lines are closed and no option now to email, instead your encouraged to use the 'Sonos Community Support'. Its a shame because it was once a good product. Come on Sonos, instead of promoting new products put your effort into making the existing ones stable. I bet over 60% of your sales are from existing customers

BT Router was to blame. I was about ready to give up on Sonos and was seriously considering other options. Then I read on BBC news about the issue with Sonos and the BT router. The router received the update and now my Sonos system works better than it has for a looooong time. The router update also fixed a similar problem with my Roku devices too. Finally, a happy legacy Sonos user.

Once everything is on the same ssid and frequency all will work smooth. Important to have the controller device automatically connect to same ssid and frequency each time it's in range of your Wi-Fi. If still issues then do a factory reset on all the sonos devices and start over. I use a timer to restart my Wi-Fi and router once a week to keep things running smooth..

Unable to connect to existing system. App says it can see the speaker and to reset my router. Right, so I have to reset my whole internet system to enable me to connect to a speaker. Ok. Done. App says it can't see the speaker and to reset my router. Troubleshooting guide no help what so ever. Can't connect to speaker via the app or Bluetooth total waste of money for this system. IT SHOULDNT BE THIS DIFFICULT TO COONECT A PHONE WIRELESSLY TO A SPEAKER.

Things move on. Sonos is now on S2, which has had mixed reviews. The S1 support statement was a comfort as it meant that it was worthwhile waiting for the issues to be corrected. Then the S1 issues started. At the recent update, my mobile (Pixel 5) cannot find the system. If I go through the button pressing guide, it connects, then dumps me onto the cant find the system page again. Customer support shows the culture of the company and with the current showing, why would I replace my Sonos equipment with S2 versions? Lost a whole home customer right here.

My gripe is similar to others recently. Once S2 is on your phone the S1 app won't let you passed the 'Open S2' prompt. Considering I've split my system I to S1 & S2, which is a great idea for us with predominantly old kit, it's useless if we can't use it like you report we should. Please fix this asap....
