This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Contact Lookup Events on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Find this app really useful, I never need to miss a birthday, I just check forward a week or so and I know what cards and presents I need to buy which means I can do this when it's convenient and not because I m in a rush as I have just remembered! Saved many a dash to the shops. I am sure the app could be used for other things than birthday's too

About this app

The default Android events are Birthdays and Anniversaries, but you can also create custom events with unique names.

Features:

+ Shows all events for contacts.
+ Events in the next 7 days are shown on Android Wear devices.
+ Events are shown date ordered, in grouped sections.
+ Click the event to show the Quick Contact Badge.
+ Exclude contacts by adding them to a group named 'CLE Hidden'
+ Add the widget to the 'lock' screen

Android Wear is supported for event notifications. Any event that happens within the next 7 days will be shown on the Android Wear device. Note that the Widget must be placed the home screen of the device that is linked to Android Wear.
