Useful for looking up signs. There are a few signs I've tried looking up that weren't supported, but it's not a deal breaker. My biggest complaint is the navigation buttons: they are small and hard to distinguish. It would be nice if I could make custom lists of signs.

Given that this is supposed to be, as the name says, an ASL dictionary, I'm disappointed with it. One of the categories is called "Idioms," but all it contains are English idioms. ASL idioms such as "train gone, sorry" and "finish touch" are nowhere to be found. Also, facial expressions are important in ASL, but are nowhere to be seen in these videos. Instead, the woman in the videos mouths every word she says, which I find distracting and annoying; I should be looking at what her hands are doing, but my eyes are drawn to her lips. So for example, if you ask a "what" question in ASL, your eyebrows should furrow. On the other hand, if you are using "what" rhetorically, your eyebrows should go up. But look up "what" in this dictionary, and the eyebrows don't move, but the lips mouth the English word "what" hugely and annoyingly. This would all be fine if this app were named "Pidgin Signed English Dictionary," but it's not. It's called "ASL Dictionary," and that's misleading. So I would suggest that the makers change the name to something more honest and appropriate. But I'll say this for it: at least it's cheap.

I've read the other posts about this product and agree with facial expressions. However, being very new to ASL I find this app extremely helpful. Being able to loop the sign given and slow it down helps me tremendously. Great app!

This application has everything I need to learn ALS. The Phrase section is terrific for everyday life with multiple translations. The interrupter has a nice pace and if need be I can slow the videos down. I have this on my Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 10 inch Tablet with the latest OS - Lollipop 5 + and a SanDisk Ultra 64GB microSDXC UHS-I Card. This is a large program but it's packed with translations. Customer service is top notch and they will help with any problem you have quickly and efficiently simply by emailing them. Very well worth the price. I recommended it to anyone wanting to learn or brush up on their sign language. Vince.

Very good learning and reference app. I refer to it when I can't remember or don't know a sign. Thank you.

Would be an amazing app if the videos explained how to properly do the signs instead of flying through them. I am learning and teaching I need more instructions please
