Awful app. Now nothing works. App wanted me too migrate to newer app. That stopped everything from working. Many hundreds of dollars on sensors etc plus installation down the drain. It won't let me go back to un-updated app. Don't buy smart things sensors or Samson hub, and definitely don't download the smart things apps. Hopefully enough people read this and save thousands of dollars by avoiding these products and apps. That will lessen my pain some what.

This old app worked. The new one (not this one), is slow and is very difficult to access your smartapps. The old app had sections at left and bottom. The new app (not this one), has everything tucked into the top left menu. Not great. Bye bye to this app that actually worked decent and was somewhat fast.

Prior to Samsung, SmartThings was a great thing. I started with a v1 hub in 2015 and later upgrades to a v2. Samsung took over and has done nothing but take away features and flexibility and there are constant issues and outages Disabling Echo Speaks and forcing people to move to the 'new' app was the final straw. I am now a proud owner of a Hubitat Elevation Hub.

got one day notice that app would be discontinued. tried to upgrade but already had stopped working completely. great thanks for being an early adopter and even developing plugins for the thing.

No way will I update classic app until I start hearing good things about it. I can't get very simple answer like will core work with the new app will my cameras work and so on....I have a very complex setup that works pretty good, and don't want to redo with less functionality. Not sure what Samsung and smartthings are doing.

I'm forever stuck on a setup screen that says, " available countries could not be fetched from the server." Bizarre. Also, the new Smart Things app says it's incompatible with this Samsung phone, which is at Android v.9.
