Why, why did they change the channel menu?? I used to be able to set my menu on favorites and be done, now I have to choose favorites every time I switch programs. It was so much better when the choices were at the top of the menu and you could access when needed! Whoever thought this was a good idea is sadly mistaken. I'm tempted to try another provider due to the unnecessary frustration!!! It wasn't broken before, fix it!

January 2024: I left for a year and decided to come back and see if they've improved. The price has gone up but the services is even worse. I can't get through a program without #2 below, happening repeatedly. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 1. Newer interface? 👎🏽👎🏽 2. Randomly backs out to the previous screen in the middle of watching. 3. Returning to the program from commercials throws audio/video sync off. I used to love SLING. I've been hanging in there with 3 yrs of bad service & increased prices.

This Sling TV app is progressively getting worse and worse, at least when it comes to AirTV integration. My local DVR stopped working so I dared to delete the AirTV to reset & reattach it again to my account. Big mistake. It does not work 99% of the time (tried over 30 times). Either the local channels don't appear in the app at all or it crashes. On the extremely rare occasion when it does successfully add the local channels it always fails to attach the external drive for recording.

Glad I don't pay for this trash. App update made it useless. I use AirTV to stream local channels to Sling via an antenna. Before the app update I got 39 channels. With ONLY the app update, 8 channels. Rescanned, 8 channels again. Can't even rearrange the channels in the guide either now. So many options for just streaming, I'd never pick Sling. Now they that they completely destroyed the use of the antenna, zero reason to use them at all now.

For the free version the amount of ads is mind-numbing. It is over the top more than any other similar service subjects you to. While the choice of videos is great, I will not be using this any longer as I am halfway through a movie and I refuse to continue with the constant 2 to 3 minutes after watching 7 minutes of movie. I started the film on a Saturday night and I thought maybe that's a bad time and they load up the commercials but here it is Sunday morning and it's as bad as it was last ni

When you pause a TV show that you're currently recording, it rarely picks up, right where you left off when you resume watching the show. Also, I constantly have to delete a DVR recording numerous times, before it actually gets deleted. And forget casting to your Roku TV with this app, if you don't have a dedicated wifi connection. Luckily, my Android phone has the Smart View app installed. This Sling TV app is a complete joke and I'll be closing my account when my current subscription runs out.
