The charter for public television was service to the public. That's not what MPT is doing. They're selling their "passport" product, and this app is just a come-on. Hence the failure to display all four channels and most of the on-demand stuff is unavailable unless you buy the product. False advertising. In particular, violation of Google's rules about disclosure about in-app purchases being required. "The Maryland Public Television App allows you to watch MPT programs on-demand" is a blatantly false statement because not qualified by disclosure of the restricted access. NHK has their own app which is terrific, by the way.

Fussy, doesn't always load and often appears like 2-instances are running concurrently. Very disappointing, not the usual level of quality I have become accustomed to from MPT over the years.

MPT has four channels. This app provides a schedule for only one which is totally inadequate, and renders it useless.

Had not tried it on anything other than this Android, I don't believe. I found their format not simple but, figured it out.

A great service, works well with Chromecast, with excellent picture and sound. Thanks.

I enjoy being able to watch PBS/MPTsnows that I have missed whenever I can through this app.
