Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing WAI?-Help Locator on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

WAI?-Help Locator, a short for Where Am I?-Help Locator, is your most reliable companion while travelling alone to unknown places or at times when you feel threatened/insecure.

The basic idea behind Where Am I?-Help Locator is to use the internal capabilities of an Android device and develop an application that enhances the user's security. We ended up with an amazing application such that Where Am I?-Help Locator can be used as a self-help tool as well as a tool to call for help in case of an emergency.


The features include identifying current location with the ability to retrieve help centres such as Hospitals and Police Stations, retrieving their contact numbers as well as the direction to reach them. Emergency services include sending SOS messages to safe numbers which consist of the user’s exact location, tracking one’s own movements and sending the tracked information to the safe numbers when there is a need.

If you want to identify your current location or the nearest located police stations and hospitals, Where Am I?-Help Locator does it for you via the “Location Identifier” feature.

If you want directions to a place or just want to know the distance or duration to reach there, Where Am I?-Help Locator is the tool for you via the “Help Center Identification” feature.

If you want to reach home and don’t know the way back, Where Am I?-Help Locator would help you reach home in a matter of a few seconds and fewer clicks via the “TakeMeHome” feature.

If you are traveling to an unknown place, need to know your location updates in real-time, and call for help as soon as there is something fishy, Where Am I?-Help Locator locates help for you in a matter of minutes within a few clicks via the “TrackMe” feature.

If you need to send an SOS message without having to click a sequence of buttons, Where Am I?-Help Locator is the solution via the “SOS Messaging” feature.
