About this app

Song Creator is a multi-channel audio recorder. You sing or play instruments, one track at a time, into your phone's or tablet's microphone. When you are done, you have a complete song, with lead vocals, harmony, backup vocals, and any musical instruments you or your friends can play: guitar, bass, etc. This app contains no built-in song samples or drum loops. Your own voice and/or musical instruments are the inputs. I strongly advise you to watch the YouTube video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvXoBKiY4wY to learn how to use this app. You start by recording one channel, perhaps by strumming chords on a guitar. Then, while listening with headphones to the playback of the guitar recording, you can sing along and record your voice onto a second track. When you are happy with your performance, you combine those two tracks into one. Next, you can add a third track, perhaps a bass guitar or a vocal harmony part, while listening to the first vocal and guitar performance. You are building a finished song, layer by layer. You can add more tracks if you wish. You can build songs collaboratively with friends over the internet, as they contribute tracks on instruments that you can't play.
HINTS:
Watch the YouTube tutorial reference above.
Read the help files in the app.
Use headphones.
Set the synchronization value before you start a song; a track should not sound like it starts later than another track.
Set the number of tracks and song length before you start recording, and use the same settings on all devices if you build this song collaboratively.
If you can't find your downloads folder, look for your saved app in the audio folder.
