This is the best recording app I have found for my Android phone. However, it is only good for low to medium volume recording. Recording band practice, drums, amplified bass & guitar, loud singing, etc is impossible to do without clipping even on the lowest gain setting. I contacted Shure about this but received no response. I hope Shure fixes this issue in a future update.

Great for testing audio on MVi+SM7B or MV7 but without having an option that you can have overlay running with other apps to maintain use of this device for practical purposes, no real use case for capture to override audio capture of mic from outside the device. I really was looking for a way to use with xrecord to capture audio from the MVi or MV7 without having to keep the motiv app up & be able to use this for better quality audio within a video at 1080p60fps or screen capture w/ front cam.

Unstable. Crashed my entire phone (Pixel 4A, Android 11). Worked fine on my Moto X4, but that was an older Android version.

Mic settings not working! I can't customize the settings. It remains in preview mode all the time and it just takes you to a page yo buy more mics🙄ANNOYING...or is that how that works? If it is, that's dumb...because it gives a false illusion like if it was only a little preview for you to play with and not the actual settings you want to adjust.

This is app is great. Works really well with my MV88+. However, after the most recent security patch for my Pixel 4xl (March 2021), when I go to plug in my mic, my phone turns off. Any way to fix this in a new version?
