About this app

The “Biosecurity Questionnaire” is an application developed by the Biosafety and Biosafety Centre at Royal Scientific Society (Amman-Jordan) in 2019. The main purpose from developing this application is to create a fast, easy to use, modern, and efficient tool for assessment the biosecurity system for any research and diagnostic laboratory all over the world.
This application is an electronic comprehensive questionnaire composed of multiple choice questions outlines the five elements of the biosecurity system: physical security, personnel reliability, material count and accountability, information security, and transport security. Each section of this questionnaire contains few specific questions cover one of the biosecurity elements. The application takes the numeric value of each answer and store it in a backup system to be used in the final assessment.
By the end of this questionnaire, the results of each section will show up. The results for each section will be presented as numeric value based on your answers. As a consequence, brief description and recommendation will appear next to the result of each section to help the user to determine the weak points in his biosecurity system, as well as to give him directions on which elements of biosecurity system that he should focus to work on for future repair or improve.
This application is open access and available to use for any diagnostic and research laboratories worldwide. The application is available on Apple Store and Google Play Store for both iOS and Android systems. It can be used on mobiles, iPads, or tablets as well.
