I used Facebook to log me in but it didn't take me to the landing page. The other critics I have is the user should have a possibility to see the contents without logging in. You have a button to go to the landing page without having an account but it doesn't seem working.

About this app

Ever been in an argument about an African subject and bet to find an answer on the Internet only to discover that there was none -- nothing even remotely related to what you were looking for? Imagine yourself as a teacher or a parent and neither you nor the Internet can answer a typical question about an African story your student or child asks. Bummer! We have been there and the sad reality is that the Internet as we know it isn't that relevant for Africa.

Sewasew aspires to be a place where communities come to share their stories to the world and amongst themselves in the Internet age. It is a true local-content platform where diverse communities come together to tell stories, debate topics, ask questions or share pictures about any aspects of their unique localities. Whether you are an Ethiopian seeking to discover Kenyan attractions, or a Nigerian wanting to know about Ethiopian Calendar or Ethiopian music, we got you covered! Are you into jokes, cooking, health, personal development, history, culture, tourism or how-to's? Sewasew has communities that share your enthusiasm and are ready to offer what they have and to receive what you might offer.

Sewasew is built with a primary focus of providing easy to use content discovery and curation experiences.

HOME FEED: Our platform hosts a sheer volume of information. Based on your preferences and activities from your network, the Home Feed serves stories tailored to your personal interests.

BROWSE: Come here to see what is trending, discover content categorized by topics, or see who the top authors in Sewasew are and read some of their contents. Whether you are looking for Ethiopian music history, Ghanian personalities, or Nigerian cousins, this is where you should be!

SEARCH: Sewasew's innovative search makes it easy to find content in the platform. Bonus for Amharic, Geez, and Tigrigna languages spoken in Ethiopia that use the Ethiopic script: You don't anymore have to worry about using the right letter variant or install a specific Ethiopian keyboard or Amharic keyboard when searching for content -- Ethiopia, ኢትዮጵያ and ዒትዮጵያ all return the same result!

WRITING: Do you have an inspiring story to tell? Got an interesting picture to share? Want to pose a question to the community? Or are you in the mood to answer questions from the community? No worries, we got you covered with simple to use yet powerful tools to create content.

YOU: To help you best present yourself to the community as well as get the most out of our platform, we built goodies into our app that empower you to customize your profile and refine your topic preferences.
