I had been using this for months. However, as of April 2020, it just clocks when I open it up. I submitted a "REPORT". I would love to use it again if it ever starts working.

I love Newsy and the radio app is awesome for when you aren't in front of a video screen. I cast it to my smart speakers (via screen casting) in the morning. Would be five stars, if I could cast via the app

I have love the app so far it has fantastic relevant and up today stories. However in the pas week it has started turning itself on including at 4am.....

I love Newsy as a TV news source and but this app is basically a drag. Once you open it, it puts up a permanent notification so there is no way to easily remove it from your notification shade even after playback stops. The only way to get it to leave is to either reboot your device or go into settings and force-stop the app. No Chromecast support either. The news quaility is so good that I'm hoping the app catches app but all my other streaming media apps behave much better than this app.

No EXIT button. Must force stop app in settings to kill. PAUSE or BACK leaves app running in background.
