About this app

Logs data from instruments which can communicate
using SCPI(or plain text) commands sent over a TCP(LAN) socket.

-Use either a micro-usb to RJ-45 jack , or a wifi link for establishing a communication link.

- Enter the IP address and port of the device,

-Enter the relevant command for fetching the data(e.g. :data?, KRDG? ... etc.)

The app will first send an identification query(*IDN?) and then start plotting the response
of the data command as a function of time

In order to use this over wi-fi, connect the instrument to a wifi router's RJ-45 jack, and connect your
phone/tablet to the same network.

Plot shown in the screenshot was acquired from a Lakeshore model-350 temperature controller
reading values from a CERNOX sensor. Response to the 'KRDG?' command was logged as a function of time.

New features

- Added menu to allow saving traces to a file.
The filename is a formatted timestamp
saved files can be found in a directory in the local storage called SCPI_DATA_LOGGER.
