Wanted to try TSP as alternative to other news media. Tried the app as I was thinking of getting a sub. So bought an issue (22/08/20) with no probs. Following week, thought I would do the the same (29/08/20). But I got an error message. Papers good, but app seems buggy? I can see lots of people have been complaining and the app was last updated in 2016. Which is a disgrace. You only get 2 stars because I enjoyed the read on the 22nd August.

Why make an app at all when it's worse than your website? Downloaded it, logged in, and it froze immediately. Eventually got in and it just shows each week's paper as a download - this is much less navigable than the website! I was hoping I'd be able to do the crosswords through the app but I couldn't even get to the front page as it kept freezing.

Great newspaper but the app hasn't been updated since 2016 and is extremely slow to open up new editions when I click "read" even after I have cleaned out all the old data. The technology really needs to be kept up to date!

I should have known better after all the trouble I had with the Monthly app. I purchased a single TSP issue, just in case, not realising that it was in USD not AUD. Then I came back to the app and it didn't recognise that I'd paid for the issue. The money has definitely been paid. I logged out, as advised for new subscriptions, and I can't get back in. I've changed my password but the app doesn't recognise it. I give up. I was trying to support the podcast, which I appreciate, but it's too hard.

Just bought a subscription - showed files for download (not ideal format on a phone) then reset itself and now system doesn't recognise my login. All in about 5 mins 😧

Only gives access to printed articles, not web content. No extra content. Painfully slow to access content. No advertising other than advertising in the print version.
