In this episode of Charlie & Company, the “school zone” is a place where heroes live. Did you guess…a fire station? Yes, Charlie and Miss Ellie visit a real-life fire station, where they will solve a “puzzle it out” question of the day. To figure out the puzzle Charlie calls on his friends for help. Violet Ringtail, his favorite raccoon, teaches colors; Levi Cottonwood, Charlie’s beaver buddy, puts his math skills to work teaching about shapes; and Charlie’s tiny but adventurous mouse friend, Nestor Fields, builds vocabulary skills with directional words. Along the way they get help from real firefighters displaying important safety gear and their bright red fire trucks. Watch a “super, splendid, spectacular” fire ladder demonstration go up and down, and sing a fire station song, along with Brian Vander Ark and Miss Ellie.
