This app and the micro mechanic OBD sucks. My light is on and this app says my vehicle is good to go. Don't sell stuff like an OBD reader that needs an app if your not going to support it. Anyone who hasn't bought one of these micro mechanic gadgets I'd suggest researching a bit on other OBD readers because this one is absolute garbage and this App is even worse than that.

It works perfectly! I tried it on my complicated 2014 BMW 5-Series and it comprehensively provided me with all the error codes and then let me reset them with ease, no special instructions; just turned on the car and it worked, keep that up (to date)!

Complete trash. App will not connect. On the instruction it even says the other apps you can use, so the company even knows the app is garbage. So yourself a favor and return the device. Spend $70 and get one on Amazon. I wasted an hour on this, dont do the same.

Does Nothing I've tried this on THREE different vehicles all with "check engine" lights on. One car I knew needed a catalytic converter. In all 3 instances the result was "nothing found....safe to drive." This simply does NOT work.

2003 Ford explorer, check engine light is on and truck is stalling. I plugged in this micro mechanic and it tells me my vehicle is working ok and is safe to drive. What? My check engine light is on and it barely runs? I tried other apps as suggested in the paper that came with it and none would connect to the reader. I am very disappointed..

Damn thing was dead on arrival no pairing at all. Just found out the housing is too deep you have to put the micro mechanic just barely in for it to pop up....once you get in there there's a pro upgrade that you have to spend $10 on top of buying the physical device to upgrade to the pro version to get any sort of use out of it. Then when I called their help desk and asked them is that not included inside the price when you buy it at the store she cursed and hung up on me.
