About this app

Holy Quran (Al Quran) is the holy book of The Muslims. Muslims believe the Quran to be Allah final revelation to humanity, a work of divine guidance revealed to Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) by Allah through the agency of the angel Respected Gabriel; in Arabic language, this took place partly in Mecca and partly in Medina, where he succeeded in creating a state in an otherwise stateless tribal society. For all Muslim communities, whatever their language and wherever they live, the Quran is their scripture.

The Quran is composed of 30 paras which has 114 Surahs. Each sentence or phrase of the Quran is called an aaya or ayat.

Allah says:

"And We have sent down to you (O Muhammad) the message that you may explain clearly to men what is sent for them…" (Quran 16:44)

Allah Almighty said about Quran: “This is the Book (the Quran), whereof there is no doubt, guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqoon [the pious]” (Quran, 2:2)
