I used to have this app installed on my Android, and it worked great. When I updated to the January 2020 revision it stopped working. Emailed FEMA Tech Support, they stated revised version will only work on Android versions 7.x and newer (mine is v4.4.4), so I am out of luck. I downloaded .pdf version and bookmarked it to my homescreen.

Excellent app if you need to keep up with security issues and need to know what security challenges and remedies for your security as well as governmental security standards for your fields.

About this app

Beginning May 2023, this eFOG is available using the Public Safety Library app. Future eFOG updates will be delivered using the Public Safety Library. The standalone eFOG app will no longer be supported.

eNIFOG app is an electronic reference of the National Interoperability Field Operations Guide (NIFOG). The NIFOG is a technical reference for emergency communications planning and for radio technicians responsible for radios that will be used in disaster response. It includes rules and regulations for use of nationwide and other interoperability channels, tables of frequencies and standard channel names, and other reference material.

The eNIFOG app gives users easy access to NIFOG information, offering a content index with links for quick jumps to reference sections, tables, figures, or images. Navigation links allow users to jump directly to regional quick references as well as add customizable bookmarks called Favorites to develop their own personalized access to critical information for their territory. eNIFOG can be downloaded and then taken to the field as an offline reference, to be used without the need of a cellular or data connection.

eNIFOG is FirstNet® Verified.
