Drives are stopping with my lock screen. Was very frustrated restarting the drives or working out the math since it just gives a number of minutes driven to select from instead of an end time. I did go in and undo the optimize battery option as I have seen in several comments. This did prevent the drive timer from automatically stopping the drive which helps greatly. Simple app that can be frustrating but with a few small changes can be a very good one.

This app is very useful I am now using with my second son and it works exactly as expected. The people complaining that you can't open other apps, I would hope is by design as frankly you are instructing a new driver. Your entire job is to be a second set of eyes, teach and give proper training. If you are looking at your phone you're not paying attention and setting a very poor example to the driver. Please don't share bad habits. Just say No to distracted driving!!!

Stops tracking for no sensible reason. If you have the app open (and I'm the passenger, so that is okay) and you get a text, it stops the drive. Or if screen saver kicked in and you want to check that it is running, it won't be.Yet one time we got 8000 minutes, so it is capable of running in the background. It must have cell signal to even open. We don't have full coverage in the mountains. The app is so close to being good.

Decent but it glitchy. It works maybe 60% of the time, but the rest of the time it will randomly stop logging your drive for no reason. I've started manually tracking each drive because the app isn't reliable. I still use it to manually enter the drives, but what good is an app that doesn't do what it says it will?

I used application to track daughters hrs of driving, not sure what happened with tje application, but all of a sudden it deleted all her information everything I had tracked down for her. I would have given 5 stars, if all what we recorded had not deleted. I read other users had same problem

As stated in other reviews, the app does not seem to run regardless of whether I keep it open or not. However, I have overcome this challenge by looking at my Google maps timeline and just manually logging a drive for my teen. I love the driving guide is has accessible and have shared it with my newly permitted teen. I hope there will be some updates to help keep the app running in the background to properly log drives.
