علامه سید نعمت‌الله جزایری (1019-1079 شمسی) مشهور به محدث جزایری ، از علمای شیعی قرن یازدهم و دوازدهم و سرسلسله خاندان خاندان‌ مشهور علمی‌ و دینی‌ سادات جزایری شوشتر در خوزستان است که نسبش به امام کاظم(ع) می‌رسد. سید نعمت‌الله را به سرعت قلم و کثرت تألیفات وصف کرده‌اند. الانوار النعمانیة ، قصص الانبیاء ، کتاب کشکولی ، زَهر الربیع از آثار مشهور او است. او از علمای طرازِ اول مسلک اخباری محسوب می‌شود.
