This app is exactly what I was looking for but just a couple of days after paying for lifetime service, the app is not acting correctly. No lesson videos to be found and the sound for the person you are supposedly having the conversation with no longer works amd it only registers what I am speaking some of the time. This could be a great app but needs work. Not worth the $$$ at this time.

Seems nice so far but when you click a word and it reads aloud, it would be really nice if a text bubble popped up with the english translation kinda like duo lingo. That way you can understand more the parts of the sentence broken down. Sometimes a word is said differently so when they change based on sentence structure to have the spanish words grouped together with underlines and then able to click hear the word in spanish amd read the word in english, would be very beneficial to understandi

Update 10/06: The main issue I had with the app getting stuck on lessons has been fixed which is great to see. I still feel like it lacks a bit of content for example there is no 'progress' screen including lessons completed and words learned. Completing sections feels like I'm just 'going through the motion' and not actually cementing any real language knowledge. The developers are active and respondent so I will update my review as time goes on.

There's a ton of potential but it's frustrating with the current glitches. I'll do one lesson and everything will work fine, then every time I start a second lesson, after a couple of dialogue boxes, all sound completely stops. There's no sound from the person you're "talking" to, nor can I tap a word and hear a pronunciation. The app also does not save your progress if you have to stop in the middle of a lesson, which it says it will do in the description.

I can say this is significantly different from some of the more popular foreign language apps because it utilizes a conversational approach, as opposed to building vocabulary with random singular words and phrases. I'm enjoying it. Would definitely recommend!

What a great app! I took Spanish in school a long time ago so I don't remember a lot. I've been on and off other language apps for years and I just can't stick with them. They're boring and they either focus on stupid vocabulary or are way too advanced and I get lost. Jumpspeak actually asked me how much I already know and seemingly tailored the lessons because I feel like I understand just enough to be able to fill in the blanks while still learning more. I highly recommend. Worth the price.
