This app is so bad. Video bar does not disappear after a few seconds, so users are forced to watch with the bar covering half the screen. Half the on-demand videos do not work. So bad that I prefer watching RT News via the YouTube channel Livestream.

Great content, but unwatchable with the video bar not disappearing (and no way to do it). It's taking up a quarter of the screen! Please fix.

Same issues like every one else- no-disappearing playback control bar on a screen of my TV.

After the June 8 update the video controls bar does not disappear during playback, blocking content. Play controls on the bar are not selectable. Much of the on-demand content doesn't load for viewing, even though the individual thumbnails do show up now as images. Performance has improved since the June 8 update. Streaming still stutters and audio gets out of sync sometimes, but not as bad as before. Using this on a stock Mi Box running Android Oreo. Verdict: The app is not usable with the video controls bar stuck on screen, so still 1 star. I end up either switching to Roku, where RT app works better, or just watching RT through Pluto TV.
