I am so glad that the physical remote that came with the TV was so poor. Otherwise I would have never searches for and found this wonderful app. Roku has a great many more stations than I previously knew about and would never have found by slowly clicking through one station at a time. The swipe option remote allows you to quickly scroll through the hundreds of stations. The guide appears on the lower half of screen while the channel you were watching remains at the top until you exit the guide,

So far so good! If it wasn't for this app, I wouldn't be able to turn my TV on to watch anything. Don't know where the remote went.. it up n disappeared. So having this Roku app is really a lifesaver. 👍 It just gets stuck some times, lags a bit, takes a bit before I get it back to recognizing my tv. Then it's all groovy and all systems go again ☺️

There'e no privacy with this app. If you share a wifi signal, you can't safeguard your tv from others on the same wifi. That's a problem. I've had my tv turned on while I sleep. I had to unplug the tv to stop others from controlling it with their phones. There need to be a way to set a pin to your tv to stop others on the same network from controlling it. Great app,but privacy is a must.

I am being charged every week for this convenience. But it's not convenient. I always have to rework it. My daughter has the same remote on her phone and does not have to pay for it or have to rework it every time. I'm done with you all! Please don't download! Also I am disabled and really needed this so-called convenience.

I've had none of the issues others are talking about here, across three phones. 2 of which were Motorola and one LG phone. Please don't ever do what Netflix did by trying to be trendy and clearing the classics. I absolutely love watching these old shows. I wish I could watch with no ads maybe a subscription option would be nice 🙂 But all in all this is my favorite streaming service to watch classic films which are actually decent enough to watch with my kids, way more effort than today's films

The remote is extremely unreliable. It randomly won't work, so you have to go back to the device list and open the same remote for the same device again, just to hit Pause or Play. It's embarrassing that one of the premier Smart TV companies has a remote app that is this bad in 2021. There's another bug where if you use the app remote then later turn the TV off with the physical remote, the TV turns itself back on after a few seconds 🤦♂️
