The title off this app is deceiving. The original TB-303's step sequencer is essential for creating the insane 303 bass lines of the various Acid genres. It appears, that the author did not learn about the inner workings of the TB-303 before creating this app. I still give it two stars, since the synth does not sound horrible and is pretty responsive. Just change the name, man!

For a free synth it's pretty good, though quite basic. It sounds nice, which is important, but although it uses the TB303 name it doesn't have all the same features. There's no onboard sequencing - a key element of Roland's original classic (it is apparently MIDI compatible so that might rectify this, but I can't test that out) - or tuning, it is fixed to two octaves, and it's unclear whether or not you can save custom presets. Controls could be a bit smoother and clearer to read too, but it does feature very a nice reverb and delay line. All in all it's worth checking out.
