Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MoboKey on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

4 stars for potential, but still a "Beta". Frankly, I love this product. It's great at a third or less of the Viper solution and no cloud involvement. I tested this in a 2012 BMW X5 Push start, 2012 EOS Key Start, and a 2006 Scion XB Key start. Do to space, I can't fit all the issues, but the company has been VERY receptive. The most important is that this will NOT disable the wheel lock. You have to remove the harness from the ignition for tha app to work 100%.

Horrible just horrible. The app keeps crashing can't connect been stuck for over 2 1/2 hours. Diego is great though he has been on the phone and checking in on me. The customer service is great but the app is so so so horrible. I just want to go home stop crashing on me please.

was told that it isn't working for me because Android phones have weak Bluetooth signals compared to iPhone. I literally was standing right next to the car I was trying to unlock and couldn't get it to connect.

Nightmare App...Run! Didn't work at all. Missed my dentist appointment, and now I have to wait until next month to get my braces removed. Never once paired with my phone. They claim that they're trying to fix the app, but they've been having issues with it since 2020.

I had a few problems with the alarm but the company did everything they could to help. I eventually got it all dialed in and am very happy with the alarm. I recommend you find an installer before purchasing because most installers won't touch it because they don't know the product. If you don't hook up the relays properly it will cause damage to the module so make sure to check diode direction. Keep app locked open and battery optimization off or engine may shut off while driving.

The app won't open without location on. Please update! Shipping takes time as the company is in Pakistan. The contents were packed nicely with no manual, only two diagrams (one for key start/one for push start). The diagram for key start should be updated as the relay terminals are labelled incorrectly on the diagrams (nothing an experienced installer like me can't figure out). I'm using the starter output to trigger my aftermarket remote start as this has no tach wire for feedback.

Mobokey provides you with access, security, and car-sharing all in a smartphone app.
Access:
With MoboKey as the driver, approaches the unlocking zone, the car is unlocked. As he enters the key activation zone, the car starts. As the driver exits the key activation zone, the car shuts down, as he moves further away and crosses the locking zone, the car is locked. The app also shows the last parked location to the driver.
Another feature of MoboKey enables the driver to start the car and the air conditioning from a specific distance, ensuring a cool and comfortable ride.
Car Security:
MoboKey is a game changer when it comes to car security, when the driver leaves the car and moves out of the locking zone, the car is automatically locked. As the driver moves away further and crosses the connection zone, the system disconnects, double-checking the car is locked.
