About this app

In this book the author takes his material from reliable sunnah books such as Shohih al-Bukhoriy, Muslim, Abu Daud, An Nasaa'i, At Tirmidhiy, Ibn Majah and others. He promised not to include in this book except the hadiths who are shohih and he did so so that no weak hadith is obtained unless a bit is possible according to his views and his knowledge is shohih.

Secondly, the high scientific position held by the author Riyadhush Shalihin is among the scholars of his day because of the breadth of knowledge and the depth of his understanding of the Sunnah of the Prophet.

The Book of Riyadhush Salihin has a distinction not possessed of any other book from the books of the Sunnah and he is fully equipped for counselors, jewels for those who receive counsel, lamps for those who take guidance and the garden of the people of sholih. This is the reason for obtaining a high position among the scholars so that they give a glow, comment and teach it in their halaqoh-halaqoh.

Finally it can not be denied, this book is among the most widely spread and possessed books so that its fame has skyrocketed and gained a high position among the special and lay people, and sufficient (as evidence) generally the mosque makes it as reading material that is read to the psalm after prayer or before.

Imam Nawawi gave the privilege in order and the making of the chapters of discussion, he divided them into several books and these books were divided into several chapters and then made the book as the title for the hadiths in many chapters of one kind and made the chapter as a title for a group of hadiths that shows one particular issue.

The book is composed of 17 books, 265 chapters and 1897 hadiths, he opened the majority of chapters by mentioning the verses from the Qur'an in accordance with the discussion of the existing hadith and create order and chapters that are interconnected so that this book can defeat other than the books which is similar to it. (See Muqaddimah Syarhu Riyadhush Shalihin, by: Prof. Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad ibn Ahmad ath-Thoyaar, first print of 1415/1995).
