By every indication it would be fantastic and fully deserving of a 5-star review if it wasn't for the fact that unlike in the Classic version of this, you can't use the magnetometer to eliminate drift, making it pretty much unusable for a lot of people, myself included. Please, PLEASE add the magnetometer option to this one, as well. EDIT: Today, on 22.05.2021 they announced that VRidge is "feature complete". Seeing as they have no intent to add drift correction, this app became nothing but a waste of my money. I can't recommend this to anyone because you don't really get a feel for how bad the drift is in the 10min demo so you're inevitably taking your chances if you try it. For me it felt fine in the demo, but during prolonged gameplay I found myself re-centering way too often. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. Review reduced to one star.

I want to buy it, but it needs an update that let's you flip the viewer for some phones that have the volume and power buttons touching a psrt of the headset (that's why I turn it upside down) and I can do it with Trinus, but trinus' performance it's just bad...

It just.. can't connect to the desk app anymore after the update in November. Not tethered or wireless. It's a shame cause it was great when it functioned. I've tried every possible fix I could find to no results. The beta also didn't work

Great budget VR setup tool. Lets you try it before buying, and even then, it's worth the money to lift the time restraint. You don't even need to touch the settings.

If you are technically able with computing this app works very well and gives the best Android VR experience out there. I use an S6 (best pixel density of the "S" range) for Steam VR games with superb results.

Terrible! Can't get it to work at all! The Phone app is version 2.7.7 The PC program is 2.5.4, so I keep getting a version mismatch. There is NO WAY to get the two versions to be the same! I tried the beta releases. No joy. There is an option in the PC side to manually input a version number but still no joy. It gives the message "Could not validate selection update, please contact us." Well there is no way to contact them that I can find!
