As someone else said, stream disconnected from the chromecast half way through a movie on a 100Mbps fibre connection. Had to log back into the app, and then try and work out where we were up to. Their website says the audio stream will be min 2 channel 192kbps, higher standards are also supported. Was hoping that meant surround sound but sadly no. Picture quality was excellent and the 2 channel sound was good, but no surround sound is a deal breaker for me.

Downloaded the app, rented a movie but I can't watch it. "Your concurrent playback limit is exceeding". I tried restarting my phone as well as my chromecast. I haven't signed in on any other devices before. It looks promising, though. Great selection. Just wish I could use it.

Worked fine. Cast movie to a chromecast. Played the nearly 2 hour movie through without issue. Tablet screen turned off during playback, was still connected and able to control the playback when turning it back on fine. Video and audio quality was pretty good (although only stereo audio?). Could do with more categories.

awful awful awful. trying to cast to a chromecast ultra and this is the single worst app for casting ive ever used. constant disconnections, paused it for a break then it decides to stop the movie and failed to connect again. quit and went to streaming from laptop, shoddy execution dont waste your time here!

why doesn't this app automatically hide my nav bar on my phone when viewing in full screen...i dont have this problem with any other video streamng applications...so why would i bother wasting my money renting and watching a movie only to have an annoying home button pill and back arrow on the screen...if other apps can address this then why is this happening...i wonder what the latest offerings are on Google Movies.....bye

Update app, having issues with app, shortcut disappeared, rebooted tablet, still issues could not get it pause to the movie, but think it was running two versions, did freeze when searching for a movie to watch. like others had issues when first installed and had to goto a laptop to pay for a movie.
