Wonderful and simple to use, id love to see the addition of a locations/businesses tab to go along with the cities, npcs, and items as id prefer to use rhe misc tab for notes.

Very streamlined but functional way to record some of the most common pieces of data/info in your RPG world. Developer seems very keen on improving and adding features, looking forward to what they introduce with future updates - but this app is entirely functional already and VERY good quality for free (and free without ads is especially nice).

Very good app! I can manage in a better and faster way than writing all on paper.

A zero-bs app that does exactly what it claims to do. Its minimalistic, streamlined UI and complete lack of ads makes it pleasant to use. No questionable permission requests makes it feel like the developer cares about our privacy.

This app is simple to use and has everything I need. I would give it 4 stars because I have to pay $1 to get dark mode, but honestly, the app is so useful and the interface is so great that I just couldn't bring myself to lower the rating.

About this app

The Game Master Journal is designed to help you track and manage important details in the story world of your campaign. A universal app that works well with Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, and any other TTRPG, this simple but well-designed toolbox makes finding and referencing the key features of your game a breeze.

NPCs
Create all the custom NPCs you need for your campaign. Want a visual reference? Add your own image. Need to remember what accent you used? Upload an audio file for the perfect reminder. Want to see all the characters for a specific location? Add a city and you can sort them with ease.

Cities
For every city you create, you'll be able to detail all the unique shops and locations within, and keep them at a glance. Save a map or a reference image for the city. Add travel times to easily track how long your players will be traveling from place to place. The cities you create automatically include a list of all the NPCs located within. You can even add your own custom environments, economies, and populations to help craft the perfect city you need.

Loot
Easily create an entire inventory of special items to reference. You can design an endless amount of loot, each with it's own picture, pricing, and description so you'll never have to shuffle pages or make a hasty google search during a game again. You can also create groups for your items, so you can organize an entire shop inventory, or make a dragon hoard!

Additional, customizable page
There's an entire page that you can use for whatever you can imagine. You can customize the title and headers for the info, so if you want this page to be a quest log, or for session notes, you can do exactly that. There's multiple text fields for whatever info you need, you can link to multiple NPC's, cities, and items you've created, and you can even add an image!
