For all android users, there is a trick to solve frequent stopping. Go to device maintenance->battery usage->optimize battery and stop monitoring 8k. This allows app to run on background and use battery and network when not on foreground. I did this on my Samsung device. Settings may be slightly different on other android devices.

Radio quality is good. But this review is about the app software quality. The app keeps switching off itself every few seconds. I use Android. This seems to be the recent issue and I have stopped listening to 8k now because of this unfortunately.

Used it on my iPhone and it worked flawlessly. I love listening to this radio channel. But it stops regularly when I'm listening to this on my Android. Would love to continue being a listener, hope this issue gets fixed soon

The app crashes, and we will have to resume the app very 5 mins that's so irritating. This has been reported few times throug the app to 8k radio team, but no action has been taken to fix the bug. I hav tried out all the trick/tips that s available online.

App not working. installed on Samsung s10 and doesn't work. plays ad's for a few minutes and then crashes. just hangs and nothing works. tried uninstalling and reinstalling but doesn't help.

Thanks to Harish viswanathan. As he mentioned , turning off 'battery optimization' for this app under settings solved the frequent stops on my Android device !! Would give 5 stars , if app works fine without me doing this work around.
