Not sure what happened to the daily brief but it was the first place I went to. Now I don't use it. I don't really care for most comments. I would prefer to have my own opinions. If I wanted to see comments I would use another Media source.

No, thanks to this new app and paid subscriptions.

I am curious to know if Quartz sources articles from publications such as WSJ through Fair Usage policy or buy copyright to republish them verbatim? I tried sourcing an article from WSJ for my blog and was asked to first subscribe to the magazine's online edition for $1 for 2 months, thereafter $9.99 a month. I found this article free in QZ on the web. Please unravel.

The Quartz app is great and very helpful, like a more serious, affluent, older, more focused, specific, and better educated version of Twitter, but there are too many news paywalls these days to allow me to do a full, unrestricted perusal and review of the Quartz application and social platform.

The old Quartz was awesome. The new Quartz is lame. Its become another aggregated news site and there is nothing in their community sharing concept that makes me want to join or get my other friends to join so we can share news stories... The company sloga. should be Quartz - making life less shiny, one (reposted) news story at a time... or Quartz -As boring as Google News but more difficult to use.

Excellent app for getting news and proper discussions. I just wish that there was more content on it that wasn't just American based (I'm in Canada). If this app continues to grow and starts including sources and discussions outside of American issues, it will truly be a great resource
