I love this app. However, the pop up video ads are a non starter. They are loud and obnoxious and only seem to be at night when others are sleeping. Will delete if not stopped. Seems like I'm not the only one annoyed by them. Edit: They are louder now and I can't even see them, and can't turn them off. Just annoying noise and irrelevant advertising. 1:30 am while reading in bed. Not cool.

Not a bad app. As usual it does not allow the user to access all features of the discussion boards as the normal web page does. Even though I have paid for premium access, the app keeps pestering me to spend more money to 'gift' other members. There is no easily accessible tutorial on it's features. Instead, they shove you off to a FAQ board to dig through endless posts in hopes of finding what you need.

2 yrs later, devs haven't changed a thing: Can't believe anyone would pay for pro. This thing is about as useless as its own devs. Might as well just use your browser. With clumsy navigation, inability to search, improper linking from Google (yeah, why take me to the forum home page rather than the thread that Google found for me?!?), I spend more time trying to figure out how to get around than actually taking part in discussions. All I ask is that devs actually use the software they make.

Frustrated! I used to love this app. I follow 6 forums, and only 3 of them regularly. For the past couple of months the app often appears broken. While I have good access to the web I seem to get the spinning wheel of death in every forum and the forum never loads. Killing and restarting the app makes no difference. A rating of 2 is generous considering it is basically unusable.

It is nice to have easy access to the forums I am in. But if it keeps offering video ads, I'm going to be deleting. I don't always have wifi access, and it will play video ads even while I'm posting a repl. For the first long while I used it, it was just image ads that were annoying, sure, but able to be worked with. Now it's CONSTANT video ads, and when you try to mute them, it sends you to the "Pay $4.99/year April deal for no ads." Be smart with the ads or you'll lose people.

I enjoy having a central location for the various forums that I subscribe to. It's great to receive email notifications when there are updates to posts I have been following, or when new posts are started. I can click a link in the email and go directly to the latest comment. Thanks Tapatalk for the simple to use, convenient app!
