About this app

QuickGrab tries to effectively practice social distancing by scheduling visits to stores, by reducing crowding at stores and efficiently streamline purchasing of essential items.

It does this by creating a system of orders and tokens for quick, hassle-free, and queue-less shopping at stores.

In essence, it allows a user to browse shops nearby, find the items that they want to buy, place an order for them, select a slot for the day when they want to go and buy items from the available time slots. For shopkeepers, the app gives their store an online presence, provides them with a system to manage their inventory, and most importantly, the slot system helps them avoid crowding at their shops and in turn allow for a more effective social distancing practice.

Nearby Shops:
Browse shops new you, filtered categorically by the industry they belong to so that you can find the shops you need easily.

Search:
Looking for a specific shop? Search for it on the search page.

Orders:
Keep track of all your scheduled and completed orders. Scheduled orders list all your current ongoing order so that you can plan your trip outside ahead of time. Completed orders keep a history of all your orders and can help you keep track of your expenses and trips outside.
For shops this feature translates to having scheduled orders to help the shopkeeper know beforehand the number of people that are going to visit the store in a particular slot and what products they would be buying. This way they could prepare beforehand and reduce the time a customer spends at their shop without negatively affecting their sales, and would make their shop relatively safer and reduce the problem of crowding at shops.
Completed orders for shops helps them keep a history of the customers that visit their shops and their orders.

Inventory Management:
The inventory management feature makes it very simple for shops to handle their inventory. You can choose from our curated list of products, based on different categories of products across industries to make adding products to your inventory simple and hassle-free. You can also choose to add new products, edit any product in your inventory, remove those that you don't wish to sell anymore and have different variants of a product.
