Hajj and Umrah Guide app is an ebook app created from a book titled ‘Hajj and Umrah – A Handbook’ by Mohinuddin Muhammad from Karachi, Pakistan in 1993. Originally this handbook was compiled in 1984, under the title of Masai’l-o-Ma’lumat-e-Hajj-o-Umrah (THE RULES AND CEREMONIES OF HAJJ & UMRAH) for Pakistani, Indian and other Urdu speaking pilgrims despite the fact we can now watch the events during the hajj and umrah live from Makkah in every 24 hours from our tv set with hd screens.

Its demand and popularity increased with the passing years. In 1993, The Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Religious Affairs,Islamabad, got it published in a quantity of 90,000 and named it “Anwarul Haramain”, for free distribution among all Pakistani pilgrims. Besides Urdu edition, Bangla, Gujerati and English versions followed.
