This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing QR Wild Code Scanner on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

This is the official QR Wild game piece scanner and BLE beacon detector. QR Wild is a QR Code based scavenger hunt type game. Players place game pieces (QR Codes or BLE beacons) where others might find them. Scanning game pieces with a QR Code reader (not necessarily the official QR Wild App) on your smartphone can reveal messages, hints and unlock badges.

This scanner can be used to participate in QR Wild based games at conferences and events.

To create your own QR Code game or play in the global game visit http://qrwild.com on your desktop and scan the game piece with this app (or another QR Code reader)!

This app is NOT required to play QR Wild, but it does provide a quick and easy way to scan multiple codes by overlaying a convenient "Scan" button on top of the web interface.
