About this app

Site: Washington Square Park (WSP) is an original audio composition written and recorded by Hays and Ryan Holladay and commissioned by New York University. The composition works by subtly altering the music as you walk in any direction within the physical boundaries of the park so that as you move, the music changes with you. Site: WSP is the latest in a series of location-aware musical compositions, created as mobile apps. The Holladay brothers have composed and designed location-aware apps for sites such as he National Mall in Washington DC and for SXSW in Austin, Texas. Their work spans a range of disciplines and includes live performances, interactive audio experiences and sound installations. Follow their work on Instagram @HolladayBrothers
