সূরা আর-রাহমান আল কুরআনের ৫৫ নম্বর সূরা। এর আয়াত অর্থাৎ বাক্য সংখ্যা ৭৮ এবং রূকু তথা অনুচ্ছেদ সংখ্যা ৩। সূরা আর রহমান মদীনায় অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে। এই সূরায় "অতএব, হে জ্বীন ও মানব জাতি, তোমরা তোমাদের রবের কোন কোন নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?" আয়াতটি বারবার বলা হয়েছে।

এ সূরার মধ্যে প্রথম থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত আল্লাহ তা’আলার রহমতের পরিচায়ক গুণাবলী ও তার বাস্তব ফলাফলের উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। অন্যান্য সূরার মত এটিও (সূরা তওবা ব্যাতীত) "বিসমিল্লাহির রাহমানির রাহীম" (পরম করুণাময় অসীম দয়ালু আল্লাহর নামে শুরু করছি) দিয়ে শুরু করা হয়েছে।
