RaiseUp app will let the users to report issues in your residential/ commercial area or neighborhood.

Residents of many cities and regions around the world have a technology-driven tool to highlight the issues they face in day-to-day life. The renowned mobile application development company Prismetric.com has launched a mobile app to highlight the nuisances like broken roads, blocked drainage, poorly maintained parks, illegal dumping, pot holes and more. The app, aptly titled ‘RaiseUp’, will allow its users to bring to light such issues using the powerful mobile media.

The main purpose of the application is to provide a common platform for raising, reporting and reading about the common issues. This will help the people facing similar issues to relate with one another and also to know about what’s happening around them. It is often observed that people usually don’t find the correct platforms to raise issues related to parking, street lighting, traffic, public property misuse and much more. Raise Up intends to create one such platform. Sharing more information about the app, a member of the development team says, “If a user raises an issue, other users facing the similar issues in the same or different area can participate in the discussion through comments. It is possible that the matter reaches the concerned authorities that might indulge in the appropriate actions. We wish to turn the keen observers into ‘social sensors’ and involve their participation in bringing up the grief and woes.”

After downloading and installing the app, the users can login using their Facebook or Google Plus accounts. This means that no separate account needs to be created. Raise Up will allow the users to:

- Raise or report the issues they see around them
- Click pictures and post the same using their cameras
- View issues posted by other users (living in the radius of 50 km/30 miles in the initial app version)
- Comment on the issues and share them on other social networking sites
- Users can see the issues posted by themselves.
- Report spamming
- Use #hashtag to tag the issue

The most exciting part of the application is that it would be available to the users across the globe. We are keen to add many more features after assessing the response to the initial version.
