I'm rewording my original comment. You seem to have misunderstood it the same way you have with similar reviews. I understand the need to make money, and as I said, no problem with ads being used in a free app. My issue is the way you flood the app with ads. Fullscreen ads popup while trying to use the app. I try to click on the app and an ad appears, I end up clicking on the ad. Ads are fine. How you use them isnt. Your answer, buy it. Why would I do that when i havent been able to try it first

Please download, this is a great app to God be the glory. Think of yourself as a baby and practice like a Mom and Dad with a child. I also recommend this with Genki book you will see so much improvement. Keep speaking! And writing! Learn your Kana including Kanji! Ads can be turned off by a small fee of 4.99. I am not endorsed by this app or its creators. I am just a fellow Google user who found this app to be very useful. Just want to clear up any confusion.

The ads are wayyyyy too much. Every 2 clicks I did was an ad. Every lesson isnt available for free either as the app is a bait to buy the pro version for $30. With everything I found it looked like it was only pictures with flashcards... with only a minority of the dictionary/encyclopedia for the sections such as food. There are many more better options to learn Japanese, even more so for pay options. Not to mention this is $30 for a fraction of Japanese

Edit to last review: It's Not Google's fault for Your failure with ads. YOU control WHEN and HOW the ads show, not Google. YOUR programming allows ads to pop up in the middle of flipping through cards. To fix it and still have pop ups, change WHEN the ads pop up to only do so when first entering one of the activities, and to NOT pop up in the middle of the activities. Popping up in the middle of activities is what's intrusive and not conducive to the learning process. Zero Stars!

Its exactly what I needed to improve my vocabulary, basically a dictionary with audio and pictures. A really wonderful study aid, when Im feeling unmotivated to learn even a passive scroll reminds me I still have much to learn and its all right at my fingertips with this app.

This app has been very useful, it's a flashcard method with pictures, sound, pronunciation, and written form. Perfect for memorizing words and quizzing yourself. It's perfect for self-learners.
