When it works I'd give it a 5 but lately I'm unable to do anything with this app. I have the vsx-lx103 that I bought 2 years ago and its disappointing that the app is not working.

My Powerhouse: Pioneer VSX-LX303 Play Fi beats Bluetooth and Chromcast in terms of quality & (surprisingly) connectivity. It's instant, sounds beautiful and of course uses a lot of battery. My only suggestion is to work on the content and layout of the Music apps such as Tidal and Amazon...maybe a new logo a few months down the road! You guys are awesome 👌

The 'Music Server' works intermittently with my NAS. Most of the time, it will give connection error, but on second retry, it will work. The 'TuneIn' show my favorite radio is unavailable, although the 'TuneIn' in Pioneer Remote App can play this radio station. Very odd.

The app opens to an update screen with boxes to check before hitting ok to proceed. However, the boxes are behind the decline button so there is no way to proceed. The screen cannot be scrolled nor shrunk to access the check boxes. This app is worthless.

Pioneer and onkyo must be financially broke, or abandoned play fi going forward. Neither has updated to the current play fi app standard since sept 2019. Have the pioneer f4 speaker. The device firmware does update, but you must use the native play fi or phorus like app to accomplish. The f4 does not behave has well as the similiar phorus p5....especially with Alexa.

Works OK with my pioneer streamer, however it plays album tracks alphabetically rather than by track number, very annoying and no fix. Bubblepnp better in this respect.
